What's included in a Nira Earth needle felting kit?
Each kit comes with wool roving in multiple colours, four felting needles, a foaming pad to protect your work surface and needles, and a printed instruction manual. Everything you need is inside the box; there are no extra tools to buy separately. Just open the kit and begin.
How long does it take to complete a project?
This depends on the design and your pace, but most beginner projects can be completed in one to two relaxed sessions of about 1–2 hours each. Needle felting is meant to be a slow, mindful craft, so there's no rush — many people enjoy spreading a project over a few sittings.
Is needle felting safe for kids?
Needle felting involves sharp felting needles, so we recommend it for ages 12 and up, or for younger children working closely under adult supervision. Please always handle the needles with care, as they can prick fingers if used carelessly.
How do I care for my finished felted piece?
Keep your finished piece dry and away from excess moisture. If any stray wool fibres poke out, simply trim them with a small pair of scissors to keep the shape neat and tidy.
Can I use the leftover materials for another project?
Yes! Most kits include a little extra wool roving, so you can experiment with small additional shapes or practice pieces once you've completed the main project.
